These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your use of the PomoSprint mobile application (the "App") and the pomosprint.app website (the "Site") — together, the "Service". You are asked to accept these Terms when you create an account, and by using the Service you also accept them. If you do not accept them, you should not use the Service. To learn how your personal data is processed, please read our Privacy Policy and KVKK Privacy Notice.
1. Description of the Service
PomoSprint is a productivity app that lets you start 25- or 50-minute focus sessions using the pomodoro technique, track your progress with reports, add friends and see who is studying right now, compete through the league system and rankings, and collect hourglass characters.
2. Creating an Account and Your Responsibilities
- You need an account to use the Service. You are responsible for the information you provide during registration being accurate and up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your account and password confidential and for all activity that takes place through your account.
- If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, let us know at destek@pomosprint.app.
- You can permanently delete your account at any time via Profile & Settings → Delete Account in the App. See the Delete Your Account page for details.
- PomoSprint is not intended for users under the age of 13; you must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
- If you are under 18, you should use the Service with the knowledge of your parent or legal guardian; we recommend reading these Terms together with them.
3. Rules of Use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Impersonate another person or organization, or use a display name that is misleading, insulting or infringes the rights of others,
- Use obscene, profane, hateful, discriminatory or violence-glorifying expressions, or other people's personal data (phone number, address, etc.), in your display name or in category (subject) names visible to other users,
- Harass, threaten or otherwise disturb other users,
- Abuse social features such as Friends, the League System or rankings (e.g. inflating points with fake or automated accounts, opening multiple accounts, manipulating session records),
- Interfere with the operation of the Service, reverse engineer it, or attempt unauthorized access,
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and for users who harass, threaten or disturb others. If these rules are violated, we reserve the right to change or remove inappropriate display names, revoke unfairly earned points, and temporarily suspend or permanently terminate your account with or without prior notice.
4. User Content, Reporting and Hiding
User content in the Service consists of your display name and, while the "Show in Social List" setting is on, the category (subject) names shown to your friends. You are responsible for this content, and it must comply with the rules in Section 3. Display names pass through an automatic filter and names containing inappropriate words are not accepted; however, no filter can catch every inappropriate expression.
If you come across an inappropriate name or abusive behavior:
- You can report the user to us with the Report user option in the App or by writing to destek@pomosprint.app,
- You can make that user invisible on your own device with the Hide user option.
We review reports as soon as possible and, where we consider it necessary, change or remove the inappropriate name and suspend or permanently terminate the offending account.
Your display name, character and points are visible to your friends and to other users in the App's rankings. If you are among the top 10 users with the most points in a month, this information (with your name shortened) is also shown in the public ranking on pomosprint.app. While the "Show in Social List" setting is on, your live study status is visible to your friends. You can turn this visibility off on the Profile & Settings screen in the App; see the Privacy Policy for details.
5. Points, Sand Grains and Characters
The points and sand grains you earn by completing sessions, and the characters you unlock with sand grains or win as league awards, are virtual items that can only be used within the App. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money or transferred, and are lost when you delete your account. We reserve the right to correct them in case of miscalculation or abuse.
6. Paid Features
PomoSprint is currently free and the App contains no paid features. In the future, some features (e.g. additional characters, extended category limits) may be offered as a paid "Premium" tier. If you purchase such a feature, the transaction is subject to the purchase and subscription terms of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store; pricing, renewal and refund conditions will be shown separately in the App and through the relevant store at the time of purchase.
7. Intellectual Property
All designs, logos, text, graphics, characters and software in the App and on the Site belong to or are licensed by PomoSprint and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes; no other rights are granted.
8. Third-Party Store Terms
If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the terms of use of that store also apply in addition to these Terms. In case of conflict, the store's terms prevail only in matters related to the store (e.g. payment processing, scope of the license).
9. Changes to and Termination of the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the Service or any of its features with or without prior notice. We may terminate your account if you violate these Terms; you may also stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all express or implied warranties.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PomoSprint shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Türkiye have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms. For users in the European Union or other regions, mandatory rights granted by applicable consumer law remain reserved.
13. Additional Terms for Apple Devices
If you use the App on an Apple device, you agree to the following additional terms:
- These Terms are concluded between you and PomoSprint only; Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no responsibility for the App or its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services for the App; maintenance and support are solely our responsibility.
- If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, we, not Apple, are responsible for refunding the purchase price, where applicable; Apple has no other warranty obligation in this regard.
- We alone are responsible for any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, compliance with consumer protection law, and intellectual property claims.
- Your license is limited to use on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in Apple's terms.
- Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. For significant changes, we will publish the updated Terms on this page, update the "Last updated" date and may ask you to accept the updated Terms again in the App. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
